I know we all have heard about the tsunami, but have we done anything? I haven't, except write a essay about the damages and read it out in front of the middle and high school...but that isn't much.

Well I live in Australia, so I live pretty close to where the tsunami hit. It was terrifying to flick on the TV and see villages getting wiped out by the waves and people being swept away. I donated to Oxfam and I felt pretty good afterwards, but all the regions hit are still suffering, it makes me so sad to see orphans lying on the street crying and all the makeshift morgues.

I heard this really bad joke about the tsunami. The joke was, "Who won the Indonesian Surfing Competition?" The answer was "An Indonesian on a cupboard". That's just sick.

That's not a joke. That's an insult. Indonesia was a poor country even before the tsunami hit.
