I just figured I might as well talk about this because it is a very important issue that can't be ignored or disregarded. I find that many of the people who oppose homosexuality are in fact the elder age group of the world. Some of you might be thinking "why do people have a thing against gay people?" Well, if you take a look at all the people making laws against gay people, you'll find that they're all older, conservative, religious types. Those who aren't willing to make changes ro to accept change. So I think we should address this issue and voice our opinions about homosexuality, what do you reckon?

I agree with you that the younger generation don't find homosexuality disturbing. But I think that people's view on homosexuality is greatly influenced by their values and family influence. If you grew up with parents who are extremely religious or conservative, you'll find there's a higher chance of anti-homosexuality. I personally don't have a thing against gay people. If people are such idiots as to judge them, then why don't they grow up and open their eyes.

I don't suppose you can blame people for saying what they think, afterall we do live in a democratic society *rolls eyes*. But you must realise that if you're about to say something offensive, it's best to just keep it inside. Becasue if you end up nagigng about it and whining like some sick dog, it's just a desperate cry for attention.

I think everyone should be able to have an opinion, but to make laws against it and say it's wrong...I think that is pushing it too far.

I think laws should only be made if the majority of the population agree with it, not the upper class conservatives who don't give a damn about the people. I think people should stop being so ignorant to the powers these politicians have and make a stand against this, because I'm pretty sure the majority of the people have no problem with homosexuals.

Yeah well, how soon will it be when the politicians pass a law saying is you disagree with them, you're doing something illegal.

I think it all goes back to the Bible.

Pollies use it to put something in a bad light, so really, they're insulting their own values.

Look, trivial subjects such as this don't really have a right or wrong answer. Only an answer that the majority agrees upon is normally seen as the correct answer, but it doesn't necessarily mean they are right. Forget the Bible, forget what activists say, just think...what has influenced you the most in your life?

Homosexuality is just fine...it's just that I don't want to hear about it. There are many people who claim that they are homo- or bisexual just to get attention...and that really anonoys me. Heh. You can do whatever you want, and I'm fine with it, but if you talk about being homosexual and such all the time, I'll just kick you out...
In short, I don't mind it one bit, but if you have to tell everyone about it constantly, it's just dumb. The government should let people do what the want.

It's not just the government who don't approve, it's the devout religious Christians or Catholics who think it's "wrong".
They just ahve to accept the fact that society is changing and they shouldn't be too "medieval".

At school this girl in a lower grade gave a letter to her friend telling her she had feelings for her. I guess that's fine. But th girl she gave the letter to told the whole grade, and now the school knows about it. How slack is that.
